Fleet 401 - The Masters
Would you like to gather with some of the most experienced fleet professionals in the business? This interactive seminar emphasizes peer learning and takes it to the next level. We offer a fictitious fleet databank and scenario in order to cover advanced theory in vehicles acquisition, lifecycle costing, risk management and more. The exercises used will vary depending on the composition and learning objectives of the attendees.

12:30 - 1:00 PM - Student introductions and Odarolo Fleet Profile
1:00 - 2:15 PM - Lifecycle Cost Analysis (includes exercise)
Vehicle Selector Recommendations - Given the necessary fleet data, an excel spreadsheet with embedded formulas, the fleet policy, available sedans and company background, conduct the lifecycle cost analysis and use this information with the other data to identify the vehicle with the lowest cost/mile.
2:15 – 3:15 PM - Optimum Replacement Point (includes exercise)
Optimum Replacement - Given full cost information for a specific vehicle, including all maintenance and fuel costs, calculate the optimum replacement point and discuss factors that might lead an organization to delay replacement beyond this point.
3:15 – 3:30 PM - Networking Break
3:30 – 4:30 PM - Vehicle Equivalency Unit Analysis (includes exercise)
VEUs and Staffing - Given the vehicle inventory and staffing guidelines, calculate the VEU equivalency and technician requirements for this fleet.
4:30 – 5:30 PM - Policy development (includes exercise)
Writing Fleet Policy - Given a workbook with step-by-step instructions and a template, develop the outline for YOUR new and improved Fleet Management Policy.
