What are the dates and location of the NAFA Institute & Expo?

What is the 2020 I&E schedule?
I&E includes networking events Sunday evening with the featured content starting Monday morning and ends on Wednesday afternoon. Click here for the full detailed program.
Do I have to be a NAFA member to attend?
No. Non-members are welcome, but member's receive a significan discount on registration.  Click here to see the registration information.  
What is the attire?
Dress code for the conference is business casual (shirts with collars, slacks and/or skirts. Denim, athletic wear, and shorts are not considered business casual attire).

Dress for evening events may be more lax depending on location and type of event.  Please note: Meeting rooms are usually cold. You may want to bring a jacket or sweater.
Can I hold a meeting of my own at the I&E?
Yes, however, adjunct meetings and hospitality suites are NOT allowed during education / event hours. Please contact Tina Lynn Mercardo, CEM Director, Meetings & Events, at for more information.


What are the on-site registration hours?
Sunday, April 5, 2020: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Monday, April 6, 2020: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 7, 2020: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, April 8, 2020: 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

What are the registration fees? How can I register for I&E?
What is included in the All Access registration fee?
Admission to the Expo Tuesday & Wednesday
Admission to all educational sessions
Monday– breakfast, lunch, and cocktail hour
Tuesday– breakfast, lunch, and cocktail hour
Wednesday – breakfast, and lunch
Can I register on-site?
Yes. To save time we encourage you to pre-register online.
How do I get my name badge?
Check in at the NAFA Registration Desk. Badges will not be mailed in advance. Be sure to print your email confirmation and bring with you to the registration desk to pick up your badge.
Can my spouse / guest attend the I&E?
Yes, any fleet manager registering for the full conference may bring a spouse / guest.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Advanced payment is required in the form of credit card or check. NAFA accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa and checks.
How can I cancel my registration?
Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for additional information.
I have registered for the convention, but unexpectedly will not be able to attend! Can I send someone in my place? How would I go about making this substitution?
Yes. Contact Registration Management Inc. at or call (952) 858-8406 as soon as possible to make the substitution. Note: Substitutions with varying membership status may incur additional registration fees.
What should I do if I have already registered but never received a confirmation?

Are there welcome desks at the hotel?
No, the NAFA Welcome Desk will be next to registration in the Indiana Convention Center.
When will the Welcome Desk be open?
Monday, April 6
Will you be checking identification at the door of the exhibit hall?
Yes. Everyone must be wearing an official NAFA badge to enter the exhibit hall and all NAFA events.
What if I need to make a correction on my name badge?
On site, just ask one of the NAFA staff at the Registration Desk to reprint your badge.
What if I lose my badge at the I&E?
Just ask one of the NAFA staff members at the Registration Desk to reprint your badge.

Hotel & Travel

Is there a housing bureau I should contact?
No, NAFA does not use a housing bureau. You should be making your reservations directly with the hotels.  For more information, click here.

There are several companies who may call you asking to assist with your hotel reservations. Please do not use these companies; they do not represent NAFA.

How do I make hotel arrangements? Are there NAFA group rates?
Yes, there are group discount rates. Visit our Hotel Reservations  page to make reservations.

Does the registration fee include the Expo?
Yes. Entrance to the Expo is included in all registration packages. You must check-in at the NAFA registration desk and get your badge before entering the Expo.
When will the expo be held?
The Expo will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm (immediately followed by the General Session & Breakfast) and Wednesday, April 8, 2020 from 9:30 am –1:30 pm at the Indiana Convention Center.  Click here to see the full agenda.
What if I am a fleet manager and only want to attend the Expo?
When choosing a package on the registration form, you can select ‘Expo Only.’ This does NOT include any educational sessions or meals.
May I bring children into the exhibit hall?
Children under the age of 18 are not typically allowed into the hall.
